Welcome to our school...
Round Hill Elementary School
Roanoke City and Round Hill's vision is to be a model for urban public education. While individual schools around the country have risen to this standard, no district has comprehensively performed at this level. We owe it to our children to set a very high bar. With persistence, dedication, creativity, and student focus, we will reach our vision.

Congratulations to our students for raising close to $1,900.00 in this year's Jump Rope for Heart campaign. Thank you all for all of your hard work. We would like to recognize Carley Martinez for not only being this year's top fundraiser with $280, but also for doing so three years in a row! Way to go Carley!
Thanks so much to the Continentals of Roanoke for reading books written by African-American Authors to students in Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade in honor of Black History Month. These ladies have a goal of reading to 500 hundred students from February 1-6.
Thanks again for sharing with our students.
What's it like to hold a check for $1,700,000? Just ask Christopher Johnson (right) of Round Hill Elementary. Roanoke City Council presented a check from the sale of the old Huff Lane Elementary to Johnson and Principal Hawks. The money will be used to renovate and expand Round Hill Elementary. This summer, the school will receive a brand new cafeteria and six new classrooms.
Check out the slideshow of the Round Hill / Fairview staff kickball game.
