About Me

I am originally from Virginia Beach and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in psychology (go Hoos!). Before coming to Round Hill, I was the assistant principal at James Madison Middle School for several years. I came to education through Teach for America, teaching special education in a high-needs charter school in Washington, DC while obtaining my M.Ed. in special education through George Mason University. I have also taught at a rural middle school in Greene County, Virginia, and at William Fleming here in Roanoke. I earned my degree in Administration and Supervision through U.Va. Other than education, I love hiking, UVA sports (especially basketball), traveling, and spending time with my family.

Caroline Williams

I am so excited to serve another year as your assistant principal. This will be my 15th year in education. I received my undergraduate degree from Radford University in Interdisciplinary Studies and immediately began teaching at Goodview Elementary in Bedford County. In 2017, I received my graduate degree from Virginia Tech in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and decided to make the switch to Roanoke City Public Schools. I have also served as a classroom teacher and an instructional coach at Hurt Park Elementary. I love working in Roanoke City, and I am so grateful to be working at such an amazing school. Go Rockets!

Chris Rill

I am ecstatic to work at Round Hill! I have worked with students for over 15 years and have experience with many aspects of education, from elementary to collegiate. I believe in an all-hands-in approach to education that addresses the whole student, not just in the classroom but in all aspects of the school day and beyond. I pride myself on being a champion for students and teachers and strive every day to help both achieve success. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, cooking, Washington Football, and spending time with my wife and two dogs.
