Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we look forward to working together to make this a positive and rewarding experience. We will challenge ourselves, celebrate our achievements, and support one another every step of the way. Let's start the school year with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to doing our best. Here's to an amazing year ahead!

VALLSS is the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) sponsored reading screener that is designed to show a child’s level of risk for developing reading difficulties and provide teachers with information to plan instruction. RCPS screens all Kindergarten - 2nd grade students and selected 3rd grade students.

More than 1,000 students received free school supplies and other needed resources.

In addition to a modified Convocation, each school held its own mini-Convocation with a unifying activity.
