Math: Complete one word problem:

Jerry wants to organize his baseball cards into a book. He has 149 baseball cards in his collection. Each page of his book can hold 8 baseball cards. How many pages will Jerry need to have in his book to hold all of his cards?

1)Get on Epic Books (https://www.getepic.com/sign-in/educator) with class code (aji2198). Once on, in the search bar, type “space” and pick a book to read. Make a list of all of the text features you have found in the selection.

2) Look at the 4 space text features task cards and comment or message the answers to them on Class Dojo.

 

Science:Search “Pollination” on BrainPOP (www.brainpop.com Username: roundhill, Password: roundhill1) and complete the movie, vocabulary, and quiz.

Science:Search “Six Kingdom” on BrainPOP (www.brainpop.com Username: roundhill, Password: roundhill1) and complete the movie, vocabulary, and quiz.

Throughout the Week

The Toothpaste Millionaire

Use an internet dictionary to define the following words from the chapters:

Answer the following questions based on the chapters:

· Chp 17: What are some ways the company saves money on advertising and production?

· Chp 17: Why do many people hate commercials? Describe your favorite and least favorite commercials. What makes a commercial “good” or “bad?”

· Chp 17: There is an old expression, “The best things in life are free.” What do you think of this adage? Is this true? How does this apply to Rufus’ business? What things in the world are actually free? Make a list.

· Chp 18: If the name brand toothpaste companies were losing business, why would they LOWER their prices?

Complete one or all of the activities for the chapters:

· Are there any ads on tv that you like? If you do like an ad, what is good about it? If you don’t like any ads, what could make ads better?

· Design the cover of Business Month with you as Businessperson of the Year. What would your product or service be that got you on the cover of the magazine?
