I am a reading specialist at Round Hill Elementary School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York and received a Master's degree in Reading from the University of Virginia. I have been a reading specialist for 14 years and enjoy teaching young children how to be successful readers.
School looks very different this year! I work with first and second grade. These students focus on sight word knowledge, strategies to help them become confident readers as well as comprehension. I hope they will develop a love of reading that will last throughout their lifetime.
